Unrivaled Finish
The competition can't touch Marvin's finish. Marvin actually uses the same ingredients in their finish as luxury car manufacturers such as Lexus and Cadillac.
The secret ingredient is the 70% Kynar® resin in the paint. This resin practically eliminates chalking and fading. Marvin's 70% Kynar® finish on extruded aluminum frames exceeds the industry's toughest standard for aluminum cladding – the AAMA 2605-05, and it's the only way to meet it. Watch out for manufacturers that claim to meet AAMA 2605 without 70% Kynar® on extruded aluminum!
Extruded Aluminum
Marvin's extruded aluminum window frames and doorframes are much thicker than the roll-formed aluminum (think pop cans and lawn chairs) found in many competing products.
Extruded aluminum is many times stiffer than wood and vinyl and is highly resistant to expansion, contraction, warping, moisture, heat, dents, and scratches. The result? Windows and doors that look great and stay easy to operate for the rest of your life!
